The American Spirit is the embodiment of the spirits of American patriots who have died. It approached Bruce Carter III, the former Fighting Yank, in the year 2008, and confronted him of his actions from 60 years prior. After reminding Bruce of what he did, they set out to locate The Green Lama and then the Urn of Pandora, the urn in which Bruce had trapped most of the heroes and heroines of America in order to defeat evil for good.
