Father John Meeghan was a reverend at Saint Pius Church in New York. He and the Church fell victims to the Bloodhawks' terrorist attacks on Cathedral's in New York. Francis was fatally shot by the terrorists, but before he died, he prayed he'd be forgiven, and that God would send some sort of divine intervention, when Vampirella crashed through the window to stop the terrorists.
