History[]
Red Sonja was a warrior born in Hyrkania during the Hyborian Age. When she was 17 years old, her village was ransacked, her family slaughtered, and she was raped by bandits. Hearing the cries of the young Sonja, Scathach granted Sonja abilities so that she would never feel helpless again.
She has found herself in the modern era twice. Both times she possessed Mary Jane Watson after Mary Jane had laid her hands on Sonja's blade, and both times she teamed up with Spider-Man to defeat Kulan Gath.
Powers and Abilities
Abilities
Enhanced Strength - Sonja was blessed with extra strength by the goddess, Scathach.
Swordsmanship - Sonja is often unmatched in her ability to fight, especially when using her blade.
Unarmed Combat (Advanced) - She is also an expert in hand-to-hand combat, though she would rather use her blade.
Weapon Expert - She was also an expert with weapons such as axes, blades and daggers (amongst other things).
Strength level
Sonja has an above average level of strength, often using it to her advantage and defeating even the toughest of men in battle.
Weaknesses
She is prone to drinking too much, which has got her into bother on a few occasions.

Horse - She tends to use a horse as her mode of transport, though she has gone through several horses as they are often killed in battle.
Weapons
Bow and Arrow - She rarely uses a bow and arrows as she prefers close combat.
